Why RV Glass Is Different

Not a Job for a Standard Auto Glass Shop

Whether your rig is parked at a Denver-area storage facility, sitting at an RV park, or staged for a cross-country trip, we offer both in-shop and mobile service to get you road-ready.

Class A and Class C motorhome windshields are significantly larger than passenger vehicle glass, often curved in multiple planes, and integrated with the chassis in ways that require specific installation knowledge. Many use proprietary glass sourced from the original chassis manufacturer.

Why Competition Auto Glass for Your RV

The Standard Every RV Job Is Held To

A poorly fitted RV windshield can create air leaks, water infiltration, and vibration stress that cracks the new glass prematurely. We use the right materials and take the time the job requires.

Know the Risks

Common Causes of RV Glass Damage

Colorado’s driving environment is particularly hard on large-format glass. If any of these apply to your vehicle, call us – we will assess and advise before you commit to anything.

— Our Process

Our RV Windshield Replacement Process

Every RV replacement follows a consistent, specialist sequence. We do not rush large glass jobs – the cure time, the leak test, and the frame inspection are all non-negotiable steps.

We confirm the exact chassis, year, and manufacturer to source the correct glass. RV windshields are not interchangeable across makes — getting this right first prevents delays and errors.

We work with specialty suppliers who stock motorhome and coach glass. Large or uncommon panels may require one to two days for procurement — we will confirm availability and timeline when you call.

Dashboard, trim, and interior surfaces are fully protected before any removal begins. RV interiors are expensive and often custom — we treat them accordingly.

Industrial tools appropriate for oversized glass are used throughout. The pinch weld and surrounding structure are protected at every stage of removal.

The pinch weld and surrounding structure are checked for corrosion or damage before installation proceeds. On older motorhomes this step regularly uncovers issues that need addressing before the new glass goes in.

High-grade urethane appropriate for large glass panels is applied at the correct temperature and allowed to cure fully. The windshield is aligned carefully and confirmed before the area is cleared.

We test for both air and water leaks before considering the job complete. An RV windshield that leaks risks walls, flooring, and interior fittings. We do not release the vehicle until the seal is confirmed.
