Why Denver Drivers Need This
Windshields get most of the attention, but your vehicle has glass in every direction, and any of it can be damaged. A side window smashed in a parking lot, a rear window shattered by a hailstorm, a quarter glass cracked in a minor collision – each requires a different approach, and each is something Competition Auto Glass handles every day across the Denver metro.
We replace every type of automotive glass on every type of vehicle, using OEM-quality materials and certified installation methods. We work directly with insurance providers, offer mobile service across the metro, and back every job with a lifetime workmanship warranty.
Why Competition Auto Glass
Denver’s driving environment produces a wide variety of glass damage:
The most common issue on Colorado highways, caused by gravel, debris, and chip-seal road surfaces
Large temperature swings between day and night, or between seasons, can cause existing small damage to spread suddenly
Impacts from accidents can affect multiple glass panels simultaneously
Smashed windows require fast replacement to secure and weatherproof the vehicle
Colorado hail events can damage windshields, sunroofs, and side glass in a single storm
Previous substandard work can cause premature cracking - we fix other shops' mistakes
How It Works
Every replacement follows a consistent, quality-controlled sequence. Nothing is rushed and nothing is skipped – from assessment through to final inspection.

— Vehicles We Service
From everyday commuters to specialist vehicles – if it has a windshield, we can replace it. Call to confirm availability for rare or classic vehicles.
Door and side windows are the most frequently broken glass on any vehicle. Whether from a break-in, an accident, or storm damage, we carry stock for the most common makes and models and can typically complete the replacement the same day. Side windows are made from tempered glass, which shatters into small granules on impact. Once broken, replacement is the only option - and the sooner the better, both for security and to prevent interior weather damage.
Rear windows require careful attention to defroster grids, wiper motors, embedded antennas, and any camera systems. We reconnect all electrical components and test them before releasing the vehicle. See our Rear Window Replacement page for a full breakdown of the process.
Quarter glass panels are bonded directly into your vehicle's body rather than mounted in a moveable frame. This requires a different approach than standard window replacement, and most shops are not well equipped to handle it. We are. See our Quarter Glass Replacement page for details.
Sunroof glass takes significant UV exposure and road debris, and replacement requires precise sealing to prevent water infiltration. We match OEM glass specifications and test for leaks before completing every job. See our Sunroof Glass Replacement page for the full process.

FAQs
Have a question not answered here? Call us on 720-239-1133 and we will get you a straight answer.
How long does auto glass replacement take?
Side windows and quarter glass are often done in 30 to 45 minutes. Windshields and rear windows with electrical connections take 60 to 90 minutes. We will give you a time estimate when you book.
Do you use OEM or aftermarket glass?
We offer both. OEM glass is made by the same manufacturer as your original and is required by some insurance policies or preferred for ADAS-equipped vehicles. OEM-equivalent aftermarket glass meets the same safety standards at a lower cost. We will advise the right option for your situation.
Can I drive immediately after a side window replacement?
Yes. Tempered side glass does not require adhesive cure time. Once installed and tested, you are good to go. Windshields and rear windows bonded with urethane require a short cure window before driving.
What types of auto glass do you replace?
We replace most types of automotive glass, including windshields (laminated), rear windows, side and door glass, quarter glass, vent windows, sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and RV windshields. Installations are completed using industry-standard materials and procedures.
How long does side window replacement take?
Side window replacement typically takes 30–45 minutes per window. Tempered side glass doesn’t require adhesive cure time, so you can drive immediately after installation and testing.
